BSJA SHOW: Wednesday April 30th 2008
Many thanks to everyone who travelled to my show last wednesday 30th April,and braved the wind and rain.
Sarah Stevenson riding her own Sally 111 took the first class of the day in the Trizone Newcomers half a second ahead of Carol Denis and Campbell V.Sean Watts and his consistant William of Orange jumped a lovely double clear to rake 3rd spot.
Chris Hill and the very fast Crimson Clover won the 1.10m by over 6 seconds from Louise Redfern and her own Redhill Manta with Sally Swiers and Stanhopes Good Friday in 3rd.
Young rider Gareth Watchman and Apollo 111 stormed round the Foxhunter/1.20m open to win ahead of Sarah Russell riding Wild Clover and Sara Blakey riding her own Breeze.
Sarah this time riding Mr Wards Majors Luck jumped the only double clear in the 1.30m open taking the £75 1st prize ahead of Louise Redfern and Mr Wilkinsons Sporting Charisma who had the fastest 4 faults.
The Derby House British Novice was won by Jennifer Cowan riding Dovecote Justice Prudence ahead of Alice Mccullagh on Ms Hetheringtons Im A Tiger.
The course builder Alan Mewse had cause to smile as his own Wonderboy ridden by Sam Jimmison took 3rd place at only its 3rd show. Sam also took the Equissage Discovery on her own Whidor in a close fought battle with Ellie Cooney and Bazaars Comic.
